AC installation · Pearland & South Houston New AC, done right.
A new AC in Pearland should last 12 to 18 years if it is sized and installed right. We size every house with a Manual J load calculation and put exact model numbers on a written quote. On install day a two-tech crew hauls the old system off and commissions the new one before they leave.

How much does a new AC system cost installed?
For a typical 3-ton home in Pearland and South Houston, a complete system replacement (outdoor unit, indoor coil, and furnace) runs $8,900 to $21,500 installed depending on tier. Replacing the AC only, condenser and coil, runs about $3,400 less. A Manual J load calculation, free with every replacement, sets the size, and every quote is itemized with model numbers before you decide.
| Tier | Equipment | Installed price | Who it fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Choice | Goodman, 14.3 SEER2, single-stage | $8,900 to $11,900 | Rentals, planned moves, getting cold air back without overspending |
| Priority | Goodman or Trane, 16 SEER2, two-stage | $11,400 to $15,900 | Most homes; two-stage cooling holds humidity flat in August |
| Premier | Trane, 18+ SEER2, variable speed | $14,900 to $21,500 | Two-stories with hot rooms, allergy households, quietest option |
What's included with AC installation
Size and install quality decide most of how a new system turns out. Here is what we do about both, plus how financing works if you want it.
Manual J load calculation
We measure the house: square footage, insulation, window area and the walls that take the afternoon sun. The old unit's tonnage is where the conversation starts. The math decides where it ends, and getting the size right matters more to comfort and the power bill than the brand does.
Side-by-side options
You get three written quotes. Usually that means a single-stage Goodman, a two-stage Goodman or Trane, and a variable-speed Trane. Each one shows tonnage and SEER2 next to the price, and we will tell you which one we would pick for your house and why.
Clean factory-trained install
Line sets are brazed under a nitrogen purge. The system is pulled into a vacuum and tested before refrigerant goes in, then charged by weight to the manufacturer's label. Each install gets a drain pan with a float switch, surge protection and a fresh filter.
Financing if you want it
Promotional financing options are available through Wells Fargo, Aqua Finance or Microf, subject to approved credit. Plenty of people pay outright. We put both on the quote and let you decide.

Frequently asked
How long does an AC installation take?
One day for most Pearland homes, usually 6 to 8 hours on site. Plan on two days if we are replacing ductwork or making major electrical changes. We confirm the schedule 24 hours before the crew shows up.
How do I know what size AC I need?
From a Manual J load calculation. The tech measures square footage and ceiling height, notes which way the windows face, and checks insulation and ducts. An oversized unit cools fast and shuts off before it has dried the air, so the house feels clammy at 72. An undersized one runs all afternoon in August and still falls behind.
What SEER2 rating should I get in Houston?
Most homes here end up between 15 and 18 SEER2. The federal minimum for a new split AC in the South is 14.3. Past 18, the equipment price climbs faster than the savings on your bill, so the payback stretches out. Each option on your quote shows the equipment cost next to estimated savings and a break-even date.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Promotional financing options are available through Wells Fargo, Aqua Finance or Microf, subject to approved credit. We will bring it up once. If you would rather pay outright, that works too.
What brands do you install?
Trane and Goodman, for most homes. We have been a Trane Comfort Specialist since the 1990s, and Trane is our pick for a premium variable-speed system you plan to keep. Goodman fits when the budget comes first, and registered Goodman equipment still carries a 10-year parts warranty. Rooms without ductwork get a Mitsubishi mini-split. We repair any brand.
Are there rebates or tax credits available?
CenterPoint Energy rebates start at $200 on qualifying high-efficiency systems. The federal 25C tax credit ended for systems placed in service after 2025, so a 2026 install gets no federal credit. We check which programs your equipment qualifies for when we write the quote.
How is the install covered?
Our 12-month parts and labor warranty covers the whole install. Registered Trane and Goodman equipment also carries a 10-year limited parts warranty from the manufacturer, and we file the registration for you. Extended labor coverage is available at additional cost. Full terms are on the warranties page.
