Second-generation owner of the company his father Mike founded in 1990. Runs the business out of Pearland.
Jason took over Clear the Air in 2006, sixteen years into the company's life and at a point where most family-owned trades businesses either go institutional or quietly fold. He picked the third path: stay family-owned, stay local, raise the bar on craft and standards.
The standards came directly from his father Mike Stom, who founded Clear the Air in 1990 after a career at NASA on the Gemini, Apollo, and Space Shuttle programs. The "failure is not an option" mindset, the obsession with documenting every step, the refusal to sell what the customer does not need: those came home from NASA and have been part of the company ever since.
The team is all based locally, with full-time techs who train every week.
