Goodman HVAC repair and installation.
Best value-tier residential equipment in the market.
Goodman has been owned by Daikin since 2012, and the manufacturing quality stepped up significantly in the years since. The GSXC18 two-stage AC and GMVC96 variable-speed gas furnace are the value-tier picks we recommend when budget is the deciding factor and the homeowner doesn't need 20-year equipment life.
Our dealer status
Clear the Air is a Authorized installer for Goodman.
Factory training on Goodman and Daikin product families. Goodman keeps its dealer program less tiered than Trane; warranty terms are the same across authorized installers.
What we install from Goodman
- GSXC18 two-stage 18 SEER2 air conditioners
- GSZC18 two-stage 18 SEER2 heat pumps
- GMVC96 variable-speed 96% AFUE gas furnaces
- GSXC and GSZC value-tier single-stage 14 to 16 SEER2 systems
Why we install Goodman
Cost-per-year often works out best on Goodman for homeowners not staying in the home 15+ years. The 10-year parts and labor warranty is the strongest value-tier coverage in the residential market. Real-world life in Houston is 12 to 15 years vs. 15 to 20 on Trane; the price difference makes the math work out.
Recent service reviews
Recent reviews of our HVAC service from Pearland and South Houston customers. Equipment served includes Goodman and other major brands.
Jacob Fletcher of Clear the Air did an excellent job of inspecting all components and making sure that system can keep up with the set temp. Rated 5/5.
Jacob Fletcher, our Clear the Air technician, aside from texting me that he was on his way also presented his professional bio and his picture to alleviate any potential apprehension we may have about a stranger entering our home late at night. Very much appreciated. More importantly, he arrived within the timeframe we sorely needed as part of CTA’s emergency response service. He was friendly, courteous, and professional. Our household is grateful that he was able to fix and provide long term solutions to our furnace problem. Thanks, Clear the Air, for being there when we needed you the most!!!
These are my “go-to” HVAC guys, yet again! This time it was because my AC was slowly losing the battle against the hot weather. Got an appointment for the following day. Robert Britt shows up and runs some diagnostics. The unit is pumping cold air, but there is a large pressure difference… Robert found 2 (30 + years old) ducts disconnected at the unit. He was able to patch them back in and for a reasonable price. Robert offered some simple, sage advice for helping my system last until we can get the original ducts replaced. Can’t say enough good things about these guys!
