What your warranty covers.
Two layers of coverage on every job: our one-year labor warranty on the work we perform, and the manufacturer's parts warranty on the equipment itself. Here's what each one means, without the fine-print runaround.
- 1-year labor warranty
- Registered manufacturer parts warranties
- We file the paperwork
Our one-year labor warranty
Every installation and repair we perform is covered by a one-year labor warranty. If something we installed or repaired fails because of our workmanship within 365 days, we come back and fix it at no labor charge.
What it covers
Our workmanship: the install, the connections, the brazing, the wiring, the condensate lines, the repair we performed. If our work is the reason it failed, the return trip and the labor are on us for a full year from the date of service.
What it doesn't
Parts that fail on their own are the manufacturer's side of the deal, covered under the equipment warranty below. Pre-existing problems on equipment we didn't install or repair, and work performed by another contractor, aren't covered.
How to use it
Call or text 281-992-7866. Tell us it's warranty work on a job we did. We look up the original invoice, schedule the return visit, and there's no diagnostic fee to come check our own work. Same price 24 hours a day; we don't charge overtime fees.
Who backs it
We're family-owned and have been operating here since 1990, so this warranty is backed by a company that plans to be around for the life of your system. Our owner Jason's number is on every invoice.
Manufacturer parts warranties
The equipment itself is warrantied by the manufacturer, and the terms depend on the brand and on registration. We register every system we install so you get the full registered term, and we hand you the paperwork before we leave.
Trane
10-year limited parts warranty on registered residential equipment.
- We register every Trane install with the manufacturer so you get the full registered term
- Extended labor coverage available on Comfort Specialist installs
- Warranty parts come through the factory channel; we handle the claim
Mitsubishi
12-year limited parts and compressor warranty on Diamond Contractor installs.
- The 12-year term applies because we hold Diamond Contractor status; standard installs carry a shorter factory term
- Covers mini-split and multi-zone systems we install
- We register the equipment and hand you the paperwork at startup
Goodman
10-year limited parts warranty on registered residential equipment.
- Registration is required for the full 10-year term; we file it for you at install
- Warranty terms are the same across authorized Goodman installers
- Parts are widely stocked, so warranty repairs rarely wait on shipping
Bosch
Manufacturer limited warranty on the geothermal and water-source line, per Bosch's published terms for your model.
- We install Bosch for geothermal and water-source heat pumps only
- We register the system at commissioning and give you the warranty documents
- Loop-field workmanship is covered under our one-year labor warranty
Manufacturer warranty terms are set by the manufacturer, vary by model and registration date, and cover parts, not labor. Your registered warranty certificate is the controlling document; we give you a copy at install and keep one on file.
How a warranty claim works
1. You call us, not the manufacturer
You don't have to sit on hold with a factory claims line. Call us, we diagnose the failure, and we determine whether it's a parts failure, a workmanship issue, or something outside both warranties before any money changes hands.
2. We file the parts claim
If a covered part failed, we order the replacement through the manufacturer's warranty channel and handle the claim paperwork. You pay for the part only if it's outside the warranty term.
3. Labor is quoted upfront
Manufacturer warranties cover the part, not the labor to swap it, unless your install came with extended labor coverage. Whatever the labor is, you see the flat-rate price in writing and approve it before we start.
4. Everything is documented
The claim, the part, and the work performed go on your invoice, so the paper trail is there if the same part ever acts up again or you sell the home.
Have a question about your coverage?
Not sure if your system is still under warranty, or whether it was ever registered? Call or text us the model and serial number off the outdoor unit's data plate and we'll look it up, even if we didn't install it.
